The Indian High School, Dubai was established in 1961 (the first private school in UAE) with a view to providing education to children of Indian expats. Over the years, it has developed into one of the most successful educational institutions in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region.
The school is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Dubai and is permanently affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi. It is a member of the prestigious Dubai Quality Group and has acquired ISO-9001:2000 Certification. The school has also received The Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished School and School Administration on two occasions (2002 and 2005).
